	Visiting Charlottesville (May 2006) Gabe's parents were passing through Virginia on Friday night, so Gabe and I went to visit with them on Friday night in Charlottesville. We took the opportunity to visit Monticello on Saturday, and then we visited with his aunt and cousins in Richmond on the way home.
Games Night (May 2006) We had a small games night where we played Set, Ticket to Ride, Moods, and Trivial Pursuit.
	Davidson Picnic (June 2006) Gabe and I went to Davidson to visit my parents and attend their neighborhood picnic. Dad asked me to serve as the picnic photographer, so I got some practice with my Rebel XT!
Sunday with The Keenes (June 2006) Gabe and I left my parents house on Sunday morning and headed west to visit with Catherine and her family. Catherine and I hadn't seen each other in over 3 years! She has been giving me photography advice lately, so it was neat to be able to try out some of her toys!
	Heidi and Tom's Wedding (June 2006) Gabe and I took a quick trip to Kentucky to attend his sister's wedding. It was a hectic weekend, but we were glad that we could be there for Heidi and Tom's big day! It was nice to spend some time with family, but the visit was too short!
July 4th Weekend (July 2006) Gabe's cousin and her kids came to visit us this weekend. We had a great time spending time with Jessica, Sterling, and April! It was nice to have company for the extended holiday weekend.
	Weekend in Atlanta (July 2006) Gabe and I visited my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins this weekend in Atlanta along with my parents. We also went to the Braves/Reds game on Sunday before heading back to NC.
Melissa's Birthday Weekend (August 2006) Melissa's 30th birthday was on August 2, so she and Jason rented a huge beach house on Edisto Island for the week. They had various friends and family join them for different parts of the week. Gabe and I went to Edisto for the weekend with a stop by Charleston on the way home.
	Charlotte NLM Tournament (August 2006) Gabe and I went to our first bridge tournament this weekend. The tournament was limited to non-life masters and was in Charlotte. We stayed with my parents and played two sessions on Saturday as well as the all day team event on Sunday.
Brad & Gwynn's Wedding (September 2006) Gabe and I attended Brad and Gwynn's wedding and reception in Hillsborough during Labor Day weekend.
	That Board Gaming Thing (September 2006) I was happy that I could once again attend the Triangle area's boardgaming convention, That Board Gaming Thing. This was Gabe's first time attending the event. We both had a great time! We played on Thursday night, Friday night (into the wee hours), most of the day on Saturday, and most of the day on Sunday.
Kerry's 30th Birthday (September 2006) Aside from the fact that I had to work, I had a wonderful birthday! Gabe surprised me with flowers at work, and then he took me out to dinner at Lucky 32. He showered me with gifts, and we spent some nice quality time together.
	Justin & Kerry's 58th Birthday Party (September 2006) Since Justin and I have the same birthday, we joined forces to host one big birthday party. Nothing says a 58th birthday party like beer pong, flip cup, and poker.
Roger Waters Roadtrip (September 2006) Erin, Dave, Gabe, and I went to the DC area to see Roger Waters at the Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia. We also visited with Erin's sister and friends in Maryland and took a trip to the International Spy Museum.
	Gabe's Birthday (October 2006) We had several festivities for Gabe's birthday. The day before Gabe's birthday was the Lost premiere which we watched at Brad and Gwynn's house in their awesome home theatre. I surprised him with a fancy cake from Edible Art at the premiere party. Thursday was the NC State Football game and Saturday was the World Beer Festival in Durham. He also had quite a few presents to open!
NC State Football (October 2006) Melissa and Jason invited us to join them for the NC State vs. Florida State football game on Gabe's birthday. Of course, I let Gabe decide if that is how he would like to spend his birthday. I'm glad that we went to the game! I can't believe that we won!
	World Beer Festival (October 2006) As part of his birthday festivities, Gabe wanted to attend the World Beer Festival in Durham. I volunteered to be the designated driver for Donovan, Cynthia, Paul (Cynthia's dad), and Gabe. Afterwards, we went to a Brazilian Steakhouse which was quite tasty!
