Catherine came to visit last weekend and took photos of my ginormous belly. She has posted a few sneak peeks of the session. I hope to be able to post more photos from the session soon!
I’ve been meaning to post these for a while. We have been taking photos of my belly at random intervals (whenever we decide, “hey, it must be time for another belly photo.”). I did this last time, though I think I was a little more regular with my photos then.
We took the first one a few days after we found out that I was pregnant, so here I am at 4 weeks and 3 days:
I started out a bit more regularly, though I guess the most changes happen pretty early in a second pregnancy. This is less than a week later at 5 weeks and 2 days, not a big difference but I was starting to tell:
At 6 weeks, 5 days, I was starting to get nervous that observant people might start to notice. If anyone noticed, they didn’t mention it. We hadn’t told anybody yet.
We still hadn’t told people at 7 weeks, 6 days when this next photo was taken. This one was just a few days before our first doctor’s appointment and ultrasound. Since we were still not going public with our big news, I was having to wear baggy clothes to hide my growing belly!
9 weeks, 2 days:

Our baby is about 5.5 inches (from head to rump) this week…or about the size of a large sweet potato. I’ve been feeling the baby move around a little bit…but it’s not quite frequent or obvious enough yet for me to be completely sure. Apparently, the movements should be a bit more obvious soon. My belly is getting bigger and bigger. On our cruise, Gabe took a photo of me wearing the same skirt that I wore at a bridal shower when I was around 10 weeks pregnant.
