Maddie’s first visit with Santa
December 6th, 2008We decided spur of the moment to take Maddie to see Santa today. The timing didn’t work out so well as we arrived around noon and the line was already closed. Santa and Mrs. Claus take a break from 1pm to 2pm, so we had over 2 hours until we could even get in line to see Santa. We did some shopping and had lunch. By now, Maddie was ready for a nap, but we really hated the idea of making another trip to the mall later. Maddie napped while we were waiting in line, so she was a bit groggy when it was her turn. It took a few tries to get her to smile at all (and Santa isn’t even smiling, oh well). Not her best smile, but she’s still super cute!

That’s a great pic! I don’t think I’ve ever had a baby smile in a Santa photo, so Maddie did great! I don’t think my record of no smiling babies is going to change this year either.
